What can lasers and IPL treatments do?
Lasers and IPL treatments can be used to rejuvenate the appearance of your skin. They can firm the skin, improve fine lines and wrinkles, and treat uneven color and redness. Lasers can also be used for scars and enlarged pores. With some lasers, there is some recovery time and with others, there isn’t. But one of the most important things is to avoid the sun after laser treatment, otherwise, your skin can burn. This makes it hard for people to get the treatments they love such as IPL, Laser Skin Tightening, Micro Laser Peel, Fractional CO2, and Ultra Microneedling in the summer when they are outdoors more often and are more exposed to the sun. Fortunately, we now have an outstanding alternative.
Instaglow Facial
The Instaglow Facial is our newest treatment. Like many laser treatments, it addresses fine lines, wrinkles, uneven color, redness, scars, and enlarged pores. But there is no laser involved. Instead, it uses a small vial to infuse a customized blend of anti-aging ingredients into your skin. The top of the vial has tiny needles that are half a millimeter long to create microchannels on the surface of your skin. This allows the products to penetrate into the surface layers of your skin. The ingredients are customized for each person. Hyaluronic acid is used to provide hydration to your skin. When your skin is hydrated, all skin functions are improved and you’ll notice an improvement in all aspects. Peptides and vitamins are used to tighten and brighten your skin. Sometimes Botox is included in the Instaglow Facial. But it doesn’t work the same way Botox is traditionally used. Instead, when Botox is placed on the surface of your skin, you’ll notice an improvement in texture, enlarged pores, and redness. You’ll also see a glow on your skin. For some people, hydroquinone is added topically immediately after. Hydroquinone is one of the strongest brightening agents and it’s found in many skin care products. Unfortunately, when you apply it topically on your skin, only a limited amount is able to penetrate into the deeper layers. But when you have the micro-channels created by the Instaglow Facial treatment, it penetrates deeper and you’ll see a better improvement. We can also include a mandelic acid peel as an add-on. This will gently exfoliate your skin without recovery time.
The nice thing about the Instaglow Facial treatment is that there’s no downtime and you’ll see an immediate glow on your skin. Although you want to avoid the sun after any type of cosmetic treatment, there is a much lower risk of burning from the Instaglow Facial treatment than for laser and IPL treatments. That’s why it’s a perfect alternative during the summertime. During other months, the Instaglow Facial treatment can be combined with other laser treatments for even better results. And throughout the year, the Instaglow Facial treatment can be combined with a Botox treatment on the same day. Another great thing about the Instaglow Facial treatment is that you don’t need eye protection like you do with laser treatments. So the Instaglow Facial treatment can treat your upper and lower eyelids. The Instaglow Facial treatment can also be used on any area of the body. Other than the face, common areas for treatment include the neck, chest, and back of the hands. You can also treat multiple areas in the same session.
