What is Alastin?
Alastin is one of the best skin care lines available only through doctor’s offices. The company started with a unique ingredient featured in the Alastin Skin Nectar called TriHex. Why do I bruise after a Botox of filler treatment?
There is a risk of bruising after any injection. This includes Botox, fillers such as Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Juvederm, and Kybella, and even simple blood draws. The reason is that the sharp tip of any needle can possibly hit a tiny blood vessel. If this happens, the blood can leak into the surrounding tissue and when this happens you see a bruise. At A E Skin we take very careful precautions to minimize the appearance of bruising with injections. For Botox and Kybella, Dr. Alex uses a painless injection technique where we blow cold air on the skin. This helps decrease any pain you feel. And the cooling of the skin decreases the amount of blood in the area, which also reduces the risk of bruising. After an injectable treatment you will also get an ice pack to take home to further decrease the risk of bruising. We also offer complimentary laser bruise treatments as early as one business day after your treatment if you get a bruise. Usually bruises go away within a day or two after a laser bruise treatment. How does the Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum work?
The Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum contains a number of ingredients to help reduce the risk of bruising, make bruises resolve faster, and help the skin overall. The Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum contains arnica and ledum, two natural products that help decrease swelling, inflammation, and bruising. The Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum also contains a proprietary ChromaFADE technology which causes the bruise to go away faster. The Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum also contains their TriHex technology, which will help your skin look even better. In addition, the Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum contains ingredients such as silver mushroom, hyaluronic acid, and hexapeptide-38 to hydrate your skin and enhance the appearance.
The Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum comes in a small tube with a chilled tip. After your injectable treatment such as Botox, Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Kybella, simply squeeze a small amount of the Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum on the area that was treated and rub it in using the cooling applicator. Do this four times a day until the tube is empty. Make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying the Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum. You can apply moisturizer, sunscreen, and makeup over the Alastin INhance Post-Injection serum.
